Private-Pay Practice
Recovery PT Wellness operates as a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly, and we are not in-network with any insurance plan.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept standard forms of payment at the time of service.
No Direct Insurance Billing
We do not submit claims to insurance companies, communicate with insurers on your behalf, or handle insurance paperwork. Managing your insurance relationship is your responsibility.
Choosing a private-pay practice means you receive one-on-one care without the limitations that insurance-driven visits sometimes impose — including visit caps, pre-authorization delays and shortened session times.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network physical therapy benefits, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement for your sessions.
Out-of-network benefits vary significantly by plan. Some plans reimburse a percentage of the visit cost, while others may not cover out-of-network services at all.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first visit to ask:
- Does my plan include out-of-network physical therapy benefits?
- What percentage of the visit cost is covered?
- Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
- Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
- How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Superbill Information
A superbill is an itemized document that includes the details of your physical therapy visit — such as the date of service, treatment codes and diagnosis information.
Upon request, we can provide a superbill for eligible physical therapy services. You can then submit this document to your insurance company as part of an out-of-network reimbursement claim.
Important: Providing a superbill does not guarantee payment or reimbursement from your insurance company. Reimbursement decisions are made solely by your insurer based on your plan terms.
Reimbursement Limitations
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance company — not by Recovery PT Wellness. We cannot influence, guarantee or expedite reimbursement decisions.
Factors that may affect reimbursement include:
- Your specific plan's out-of-network coverage
- Whether you have met your deductible
- Annual visit limits or dollar caps
- Whether a referral or pre-authorization was required
- State-specific insurance regulations
Payment Is Due at Your Appointment
Payment for all services is due at the time of your appointment. We do not offer billing, payment plans or deferred payment for standard sessions.
This allows us to keep our focus entirely on your care rather than on insurance administration.
Medicare Policy
Recovery PT Wellness does not accept Medicare or offer Medicare-covered physical therapy services on a private-pay basis.
Medicare beneficiaries may be eligible to participate in separate wellness services that are genuinely non-covered and do not constitute medically necessary skilled physical therapy.
Wellness services must not be represented as a substitute for Medicare-covered physical therapy.
Important notice: This Medicare policy is subject to legal and compliance review before publication. Do not assume that Medicare patients can waive Medicare coverage or pay privately for otherwise covered physical therapy services. Applicable Medicare enrollment, billing and beneficiary restrictions should be confirmed with a qualified healthcare attorney or Medicare compliance specialist.
