Questions

Answers before you ask.

Which service should I choose?

If you have pain, an injury or are recovering from surgery, start with Mobile PT or Virtual Care. If your goal is general strength, mobility or wellness, a Wellness Session may be a better fit. Contact us and we will help you decide.

Do you provide in-home physical therapy?

Yes — mobile PT is available for eligible local clients. Your location and whether mobile care is appropriate can be confirmed when you reach out by email.

Can I meet virtually?

Virtual care is available for education, exercise guidance, follow-up and selected movement concerns when clinically appropriate. Suitability can be confirmed by email.

Do you accept insurance?

Recovery PT Wellness is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, and payment is due at the time of your appointment.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network physical therapy benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement.

Upon request, we can provide a superbill, which is an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company.

Out-of-network benefits vary by plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first visit to confirm your benefits.

Do you accept Medicare?

Recovery PT Wellness does not accept Medicare or offer Medicare-covered physical therapy services on a private-pay basis.

Medicare beneficiaries may be eligible to participate in separate wellness services that are genuinely non-covered and do not constitute medically necessary skilled physical therapy.

Wellness services must not be represented as a substitute for Medicare-covered physical therapy.

Can I submit my physical therapy expenses to insurance?

If your insurance includes out-of-network physical therapy benefits, you may be eligible to submit a superbill for reimbursement.

We do not submit claims or communicate with insurers on your behalf.

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance company and is not guaranteed.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is an itemized document containing information about your physical therapy visit that may be required when requesting out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

We can provide a superbill upon request for eligible physical therapy services.

Providing a superbill does not guarantee payment or reimbursement from your insurance company.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

Recovery PT Wellness operates as a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.

What should I include when I reach out?

Your name, best contact information, a brief description of what is bothering you, how long it has been happening and which service you are interested in. Please avoid sending sensitive medical details through general email.
